Where your words go,
without the fog.
A short, direct explanation of what happens when someone uses a PipeFlow-powered intake chat.
What this covers
PipeFlow provides intake chat software to law firms. This page explains what happens to information you share in a PipeFlow-powered chat and on pipeflow.cc. It is written in plain English because that is how we would want it explained to us.
What we collect
Contact details you provide—your name, phone number, and email. Case details you choose to share in the conversation. Basic technical information, such as IP address, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We collect only what intake requires.
Where it goes
Your conversation and contact details are delivered to the law firm whose website you are chatting on—that is the purpose of the service. To operate the chat, data is processed by our hosting infrastructure and AI providers solely to run the service: Anthropic powers the text conversation, and where voice calls are offered, OpenAI powers the voice conversation, including transcribing the call so the firm gets your details right. Voice calls state this up front, and continuing the call is your consent to the transcription. Our AI providers do not use these inputs to train their models.
What we never do
We never sell your information. We never share it beyond the named firm and the service operation described above. We do not use your conversations for advertising.
Retention
We keep lead records so the firm can follow up on your inquiry, and short-lived operational logs for security. If you would like something we hold removed, email us and we will handle it.
Not legal advice
The assistant is AI, and it says so. Chatting does not create an attorney-client relationship, and nothing in the chat is legal advice. The firm reviews your information and advises you directly.
